55-yr-old woman chokes up slightly over loss of her health plan; Obamacare plan costs 11x as much

I’ll be posting later today on my own D.C. Obamacare Exchange shopping experience. I discovered I could can buy substantially inferior coverage compared to what I used to have, from the same insurance company, for two to four times what I used to pay.

This was just an experiment for me, since I took insurance through work earlier this year. But here’s a story about people less fortunate, from CBS News this morning:

Note that the woman interviewed here is probably eligible for a subsidy through Obamacare, even though she can’t find out what it is. What that means is that she might pay only 5 to 7 times as much for a plan she doesn’t want to be driven into by government regulators who supposedly know better than she does what she wants from her health plan.

How tragic and painful to see liberals defend such a thing — as if they never learned to leave well enough alone.
