This Dec. 3 interview with local television — just wow. You can guess why the NRSC is circulating this clip now. Even the New York Times has at least come up with a weasely explanation for the false promise. Reid is simply insisting that it’s true.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., explains why the Affordable Care Act is causing so many plans to be cancelled, and in the same breath maintains that President Obama was truthful in promising that everyone — every single person in America — could keep their plan, period, full stop.

Who knows — maybe Reid is just thinking of members of his own staff?

An important detail about the “administrative things that kicked in — Reid and all Senate Democrats voted to let them kick in in 2010, and that’s why so many plans are being canceled now.
