Obamacare: 28,000 signed up in Minnesota, only 14,500 paid their premium

Hat tip to @RyanLGustafson for bringing this to my attention. According to the latest report from MNsure, Minnesota “enrolled” 27,775 people in Affordable Care Act exchange plans:



If you turn to page 14, the same report shows that only about 14,500 people have actually paid or have payments pending — in other words, a bit more than half. That’s as of the week of January 21. Perhaps it’s improved since then, or perhaps it’s another data point suggesting that around half of Obamacare exchange enrollees are actually enrolled.
