After an ‘accidental leak’ of her campaign plan to succeed retiring Senator Saxby Chambliss, Democrat nominee Michelle Nunn is between a rock and a hard place in terms of how to couch her strategy.

First reported by National Review Online, the leaked campaign plan detailed key issues on which Nunn might be exploited as a weak candidate.

Those weaknesses include being perceived as too liberal or soft on terrorism, given her association with a group linked to terrorists, or perhaps as a carpetbagger. You can read the full memo here.

The daughter of former Senator Sam Nunn, Michelle grew up in Bethesda, Maryland, during her father’s 25-year career in DC. After moving to Atlanta later in life, she is seen by some as a big-city liberal, out of touch with regular Georgians, especially those in the rural areas.

Nunn has been criticized as well for dodging key questions about her agenda as she continues to sidestep attempts by the GOP to brand her as Obama-lite.
